I was a little worried the mini size would be too small for my thick hair, but the acetate material is surprisingly sturdy and it holds a half-up style perfectly. The hand-painted finish looks so much nicer than the plastic ones I've seen.

The 2" size is perfect for clipping just the front sections back while I do my makeup, and it actually holds without slipping. Love that it's cellulose acetate instead of cheap plastic too, feels sturdier than my old ones.

I have fine hair and regular claw clips always slide right out, but this 2-inch one actually holds my half-up twists all day. The cellulose acetate has a nice weight to it too, feels way sturdier than the cheap plastic ones I've broken before.
